Join us to celebrate! We are back and more excited than ever to invite you to our 20th Annual Fundraising Breakfast. This year, Chrysalis celebrates 55 years of championing workforce and community inclusion for people with disabilities and empowering people to make their dreams, goals, and aspirations a reality.
When: October 18, 2023 | 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. (free continental breakfast included)
Where: Italian Cultural Centre | 14230 133 Avenue NW (access to the Centre is off St. Albert Trail and 134 Avenue; follow the curved road that will have directional signage)
Parking: Ample parking is available to the left of the Centre
Our theme this year is Dream Big: Igniting Change, Growth, and Opportunity for People with Disabilities, and honours October as Disability Employment Awareness Month (DEAM). We can’t wait to celebrate the contributions people with disabilities make in the workplace!
The program will be jam-packed with inspiring stories of what happens when communities come together — when people of diverse backgrounds embrace each other’s differences, celebrate everyone’s unique strengths, and welcome all perspectives. You will enjoy entertainment provided by talented members of the disability arts community, and hear from inclusive employers, disability advocates, and self-advocates.
You will leave the event more aware of the challenges faced by people with disabilities, as well as the innovative programs and services your generous support allows Chrysalis to offer. We hope you leave inspired to advocate alongside us to reduce stigmas and barriers faced by the disability community, and that you consider Chrysalis when you offer your support to the community.
