Having just capped off yet another successful Spirit of Chrysalis Gala Breakfast in Edmonton last week, our whirlwind of a year continues! This time we finally get a chance to let our individuals in Calgary take centre stage in the form of the 5th Annual Art Show and Sale presented by Scotiabank, and event they have tagged “UnEarthing”!
If you are a nature lover and art lover, then look no further! Chrysalis Calgary artists will feature their amazing artwork on Friday, June 19th at Windsor Park Community Centre, located at 5304 6 St SW in Calgary, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Much like our counterparts in Edmonton, our show will feature a very special sneak peek for our donors, board members, sponsors and contributors at 5 pm as a small thank you for their support.
Our artists, inspired by the beauty of the nature, have no fear when it comes to exploring various mediums used to express their passions, feelings, and dreams! From each unique perspective, Chrysalis artists UNEARTH the peace, love and harmony within themselves and among others in the universe. Their artwork can be described in many words but perhaps the best way to characterize the art style is in one of the artists’ own words, “Art makes me feel wonderful and powerful, because I can express myself.”
Our studio is young but our excitement and motivation is huge! The 5th Annual Art Show and Sale presented by Scotiabank is open to anyone and everyone so please feel free to pass this event information along to anyone you think would be interested in viewing some amazing artwork.
