Summer is nearly upon us and the weather is not the only thing heating up. It has been a very busy past few months for us at Chrysalis in both Edmonton and Calgary and we have one more big event to host before things settle down a little over the summer months.
Chrysalis Calgary is proud to host their 4th Annual Art Show and Sale presented by Scotiabank entitled, REFLECTION. This annual showcase of talent will be held on Friday, June 20 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Windsor Park Community Hall, which is located at 5304 6 Street SW in Calgary.
Reflection will feature 47 different artists participating in the Calgary Art Program. There will be 150 unique pieces of art in a variety of different mediums including acrylic painting, Plexiglas, art cards, crafts and sculptures.
The Annual Art Show and Sale is open to anyone and everyone so please feel free to spread the word about this exciting exhibit to your friends, family and colleagues. This promises to be one of the best displays our Calgary artists have put together thus far and we’d love for you to join us and help support theses amazingly talented individuals!
Refreshments will be served throughout the event and funds raised will be shared between the artists (70%) and the art program (30%) to keep supplies stocked in the art studio.
